John Deere 5075E throttle body issue — anyone dealt with this?

My 2019 5075E is throwing a code for the throttle body sensor. Dealer wants $800 just for diagnostics plus parts. I pulled the code myself with a Jaltest reader — it's a U0100 lost communication with ECM. Wondering if anyone has done this repair themselves or if there's an independent shop that won't charge dealer rates. Ames area preferred.

That code is usually a wiring harness issue near the throttle body, not the sensor itself. Check the connector behind the engine cover first before spending on parts. Common failure point on the 5000 series.

Try Midwest Repair in Huxley — they do John Deere work at about 40% less than the dealer. Saved me $1,100 on my 6115M last spring.
