REAP — Rural Energy for America Program

Grants up to 40% of project cost; loans available

REAP helps farmers reduce energy costs through renewable energy systems and efficiency improvements. Solar panels for grain drying, LED lighting, variable speed drives for irrigation all qualify.

Eligibility: Iowa agricultural producers and rural small businesses. Covers solar, wind, biogas, geothermal, and energy efficiency improvements.
